Lindzen class on global warming

This class should be entertaining, particularly for those with a well-tuned sense of irony.

That sounds like a pretty fun class, I must say. I'm intrigued by the choice of topics. As someone who writes about both climate change and nuclear waste, I see significant parallels in the way the science and political/policy worlds interact.

This would be a very useful class for the non-scientist techophiles at MIT, knowing them as I do, and knowing Richard as I do, they will learn something beyond the dogma of AGW and the PC world they are presented in other MIT departments. Richard is an excellent professor and lecturer, and never fails to stimulate clear thought and creative thinking due to his long term, deep, and broad experience in these subjects. Other universities would provide more objective and diverse learning experiences if they had the likes of a Richard on their faculties, pity they don't.

I'm sure the class would be great fun... Finally something Dr J and I can agree on, if you want creative thinking Lindzen is the man to go to.

FYI - this isn't a new class. RL is taking it over from someone who moved to another university.

Let's hope Ms. Doonesbury takes it.
